Tyndale Resource Centre and Hospitality

Client Tyndale Christian School Location Strathalbyn Value $1.1M Completion 2024

The Tyndale Christian School Strathalbyn Resource Centre and Hospitality project showcases a vibrant,
multifunctional learning space for students from Reception to Year 12. The Resource Centre provides
dedicated areas for study, reading and collaboration, fostering an environment of academic growth and
school community engagement. Complementing this is a modern hospitality space, a new home economics
classroom equipped for practical learning. This project enhances the school’s educational offerings,
supporting both individual and hands-on learning in a contemporary, inspiring setting.

Transforming these essential areas provides students from Reception through Year 12 with upgraded,
inspiring spaces for study and creativity. The new Resource Centre goes beyond a typical library, offering a
multi-functional hub designed with flexible spaces that adapt to various age groups and learning styles, from
quiet study nooks to group collaboration areas. This flexibility not only serves different academic purposes
but also creates an environment where students feel inspired to engage and connect. Thoughtful use of
colour and materials infuses each area with a lively, playful energy.

The upgraded home economics classroom is designed to support hands-on learning with a functional layout
and the latest equipment. Reconfigured to maximise both teaching and student workspaces, the classroom
now features high-quality kitchen appliances, ample preparation stations, and an accessible workstation,
ensuring inclusivity for all students.

This project reflects Greenway Architects’ dedication to creating adaptable and inspiring educational spaces
that support students at every stage of their learning journey. Through purposeful design and innovation,
Tyndale Christian School’s Resource Centre and Hospitality upgrades provide an enriching environment that
will serve and inspire the school community for years to come.
