The Henley Beach Police Station provides a replacement facility for the original Station constructed on the site in 1962. It accommodates SAPOL’s operations in adaptable, light-filled, energy efficient facilities, enabling future growth and flexibility in how SAPOL use the space, both now and in the future.
A palate of contemporary beachside materials, including over 100-year-old recycled jetty timbers from the Moonta Bay Jetty, and patterned precast concrete create an interesting facade while still providing the security and durability required for those using and visiting the station.
New technologies contained in the building have streamlined operational activities and improved functionality and service delivery for SAPOL.
