Executive Suite TAFE SA
TAFE SA’s Strategic Plan outlined its dedication to becoming ‘more responsive and proactive in our engagement with students, staff, industries, and our communities.’ Greenway created an open shared-use collaboration entry space to facilitate this instead of a traditional reception. Bifold doors enhance the Suite’s flexibility and increase connection and transparency within the organisation. They open to provide access to the internal Atrium, welcoming students, industry partners and visitors in.
An existing First Nations people artwork that covered the Light Square entry has been wrapped across the face of the Executive Suite, drawing visitors in. The colours from this artwork have been reflected in the materials and finishes of the public entry space, ensuring a connection from the front door.
Within the Executive Suite office space, and building on our previous relationship with TAFE SA, Greenway was tasked with establishing a benchmark for a new contemporary corporate workspace for the organisations that supported future, alternate ways of working.
Greenway sought to provide sustainable and environmentally conscious spaces with flexible and diverse work environments, including integrated technology, offering staff and visitors improved connectivity and integration between metro and regional campuses. The new areas support higher staff engagement with increased access to natural light, and innovative and collaborative spaces, promoting productivity and staff wellness. The materials and colour palette reflect TAFE SA’s design guidelines and link the front entry through the use of the graphic in a neutral tone.
The new space maintains the character of the original building whilst creating a modern work environment.
