Building on our previous relationships and project base, Police Health and Greenway sought to create more space and a change in workplace culture with an integrated building upgrade and fit out within the heritage-listed building. Originally built in 1912, damaged by fire in 1975 and reconstructed in 1985 into small, dim offices, Greenway created a crisp modern workplace inserted within the old facade. The new accommodation promotes activity, interaction and collaboration amongst staff, with reduced workstation sizing, but more interactive and reflective spaces plus a well-equipped work cafe. The fit out is more flexible and adaptable than any accommodation the Client had previously.
Those who inspected the building prior to the project cannot believe the transformation with a feeling of spaciousness and light they did not expect could be achieved in the existing envelope. Police Health is delighted with the measurable improvements in work efficiency, staff reinvigoration, greater flexibility and the sophisticated but not opulent environment.
