Glenunga Hub Official Opening
By Eloise Penna Feb 8th 2016 5:00pm
Glenunga Community Hub was officially opened on Saturday afternoon, with the Mayor of Burnside, David Parkin unveiling a commemorative plaque and welcoming the community to the redeveloped precinct. The redevelopment comprised of a new pavilion, situated in the middle of Glenunga Reserve, with a new state-of the-art playground along with new playing fields, little athletics facilities and a fitness track with exercise equipment. The City of Burnside have praised the success of the project and said the precinct will 'redefine the standard of multi-purpose leisure facilities' available for use by the community. It’s not just swings and roundabouts!

It's always great when we get excellent feedback from users of our spaces, however it's even better when those spaces have such an impact on younger users. As part of the larger Glenunga Community Hub project, Greenway worked with Oxigen Landscape Architects to create an activity based play space for younger users of the precinct. Rather than just being swings and slides under a shade sail, great effort went in to creating an active space with water play, elevational changes, different ground surfaces and other components to promote a more creative way of interacting with the space, other kids and the environment, all shaded with the large trees nearby. We were pleased to see the playground get a rave review on the "Kids in Adelaide" website, which you can read here.

SAPOL Henley Beach
By Simon Nov 20th 2015 2:00am
Ground was formally broken at the site of the new Henley Beach Police Station today, with the Hon. Tony Piccolo, Minister for Police, the Hon. Paul Caica, Member for Colton, and Acting Commissioner Linda Williams putting shovels into the ground to ceremonially start the project. Due for completion in mid 2016, the project is the culmination of a great deal of work between Greenway Architects and our project team, South Australia Police and the Dept. of Planning, Transport and Infrastucture to improve the facilities and environments for the Police and the public in their interactions. Click back over the next few months to review progress of the works.
